Shatarupa Bhattacharjee
Shatarupa Bhattacharjee is an Indian artist based in Noida whose work beautifully reflects her deep connection with nature, artistic expression, and traditional aesthetics. For Shatarupa, art is more than a profession—it is a lifelong passion and a powerful medium to express emotions, imagination, and personal experiences.
Artistic Journey
From a young age, she was captivated by the beauty of nature and the mesmerizing play of colors in the natural world. This fascination gradually evolved into a distinctive artistic style where landscapes often carry a touch of surrealism, transporting viewers into tranquil dreamlike spaces where nature's elegance and mystery unfold.
Shatarupa formally began her artistic training under the guidance of her mentor Suniel Chawla over a decade ago. Through dedicated learning and exploration, she developed the ability to transform ideas into meaningful compositions that resonate with viewers and fellow artists alike.
Artistic Style & Inspiration
Her artworks primarily explore nature-inspired themes, surreal landscapes, and Indian traditional art forms. Deeply inspired by India's rich artistic heritage, she often reflects on the thought process and techniques of traditional Indian artists, incorporating the beauty and authenticity of natural colors and traditional styles into her work.
Beyond painting, Shatarupa is passionate about creating handmade art pieces through different mediums. She enjoys working with painting, crochet, and resin art, exploring textures, colors, and materials to create unique artistic expressions. Each handmade piece is crafted with deep artistic passion and attention to detail.

Over the years, her artworks have gained recognition both in India and internationally. She has participated in several prestigious exhibitions, including World Art Dubai, where her artwork was successfully sold, as well as international exhibitions in Poland and Russia.
